DuPage Foundation’s Community Needs Grant Program: Enriching Lives, Impacting Communities

The DuPage Foundation’s Community Needs Grant Program stands as a testament to their commitment to making a positive impact in DuPage County.

Dedicated to supporting programs and projects that enhance the quality of life for residents, the Foundation aims to create a better community for all.

DuPage Foundation’s Community Needs Grant Focuses

The DuPage Foundation’s Community Needs grant program focuses on five essential areas that have a significant influence on the well-being of the community:

Health & Human Services:

The Foundation supports initiatives in affordable housing, behavioral health, access to healthcare, and combating food insecurity to uplift the most vulnerable residents.

Education

By investing in equitable pathways to self-sufficiency through financial, health, and language/math literacy programs, along with leadership development opportunities, the Foundation aims to empower individuals for a brighter future.

Arts & Culture

Enriching the lives of DuPage County residents, the Foundation promotes broad access to arts and cultural experiences that inspire and unite the community.

Environment

Nurturing a sustainable future, the Foundation backs environmental education, conservation efforts, and wildlife protection initiatives.

Animal Welfare

Advocating for the well-being of domestic animals and encouraging responsible pet care, the Foundation addresses the needs of furry companions.

Collaboration is at the core of the Community Needs Grant Program, and the Foundation actively encourages not-for-profit organizations to apply for their grants.

With two application options available – the Community Needs Grant Application for requests up to $25,000 and the Community Needs Mini-Grant Application for requests up to $2,500 – the Foundation ensures that the application process remains accessible and convenient for applicants.

For a smooth and successful application process, the Foundation strongly recommends that first-time applicants reach out to Barb Szczepaniak, the Vice President for Programs.

Barb is more than willing to assist organizations in determining their eligibility and guiding them through the application process.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming grant cycles:
