The Ann Theodore Foundation Scholarship Program, works under TPI (The Philanthropic Initiative), which provides opportunities for post-secondary education, making college accessible for youth and adults with low-income but have a keen desire to secure a college degree or a trade certificate.
The Ann Theodore Foundation Scholarship Program
The students whose applications fulfill all the mandatory criteria and are approved by the management of foundation into the program, receive an annual scholarship of up to $25,000 for up to four years, professional mentoring and funding for greater opportunities.

Ann Theodore Foundation Scholarship
The Ann Theodore Foundation Scholarship is Open to students from New York and Manchester, Roosevelt and North Babylon and New Hampshire who have a desire to attend the college they choose due to substantial unmet financial need.
This program is initiated to help residents from Manchester, New Hampshire attend and graduate from post-secondary institutions, including two-year schools, trade schools, and four-year colleges.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility requirement for The Ann Theodore Foundation Scholarship Program TPI is as follow:
- High school senior or adult resident of either North Babylon (NY), Roosevelt (NY) or Manchester (NH), or graduate of a high school in one of the three towns who is applying to pursue or currently pursuing a trade school, two-year school or four-year college either part-time or full-time.
- Remarkable financial assistance; priority will be given to applicants with Expected Family Contributions (EFC) of $10,000 or less
- Substantial unmet financial need (at least $5,000) beyond what is being offered in college financial aid and other scholarships
- To be eligible to apply for the Federal Student Aid in order to receive the scholarship, the applicant must be a US citizen, US permanent resident ( green card holder), or DACA or TPS recipient.
- Must have a clear vision of how this scholarship will impact applicant’s life and goals, and how education will help to meet these goals further.
- Must reveal good citizenship and a commitment to investing and building in their community.
SCHOLARSHIPs TIMELINE:
- Application opens: December
- Applications due date: February 17, 2023
- Interviews with finalists: March
- Scholarship final decisions emailed to applicants : April End
- Scholarship payments sent to colleges : July end or Beginning of August
